12th August 2007 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 18-20 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 17ºC Sea Temperature: 17ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: There was wind all day but only just enough at around 18-20 knots, so I patiently waited and at around 5pm was rewarded as the wind picked up to a nice 22 knots with 26 knot gusts. At the same time though I had a phone call from some prospective clients who wanted to come and see me there and then. So I had to sit talking to them for an hour whilst watching the wind gauge do it things. As soon as they were gone I rushed out and got on the water. Of course the wind had dropped again by then and although I got going a few times there just wasn't really enough. A biiger fin may he helped though... Oh well. |
